This little baby squirrel fell 25 to 30 feet from the nest to the ground in Little Lake Park Midland, Ontario. His brother or sister died beside him with a broken back. Lucky #96 eyes were open and was breathing. My friends Susie, Sandy and I decided to rescue Lucky and put him/her in a big bin with leaves water, oatmeal. I then went to the OSPCA and they suggested I contact the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary (Rosseau). The Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary (Rosseau) are taking excellent care of Lucky. Lucky is quiet, alert, responsive, drinking okay, on an anti inflammatory medication and in an incubator with oxygen. Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary (Rosseau) keeps me posted on Lucky's progress for which I am grateful.
