I just finalized the layaway on my EZone electric MTB. (paid in full) I got a 27.5 inch wheel, full 24 speed, front suspension, 'pedal assist' model, The 'Georgian'. It's beautiful. It is all black and with day glow trim for visibility. I get 60 MILES (100km) with a full charge (3 hours) at an average 12 miles an hour ( 20 kph) in its pedal mode. ( yes, I like miles, not kms...sue me, I'm a 60's kid, and yes, it has a throttle as well, if you need it. ) It will do up to 30 MPH (50 Kph), but typically 20 mph (32kph) is about the flatland motor max - which is plenty fast. It has eaten EVERY HILL around like it was flat. One can do quite well with the motor off also because the bike is comparable in weight without the battery to my 90's Diamondback full suspension MTB, and the drivetrain is well ranged and very smooth, as is the lock out front suspension. The bike is very quiet, even under load. I have hydraulic disk brakes, excellent lights, a nice rack in the back, a really nice spring loaded saddle, and I also bought a matching helmet. Very stylish and also easy on the seat during the long rides I like to take. 25 miles (40k) in one go is easy peasey. (I turn 60 in a couple of months) I had a small incident with a hidden post hole buried in the grass ( me driving into town carelessness!) and Glen the store owner had the replacement parts ordered right away. So, likely the bike will be better before my wrist is (sad lol). Other than a brake handle, no real damage, just some wrist twist and some damaged pride. So I will say this bike is durable and well constructed. My bike friends are drooling a little to say the least. IMHO, Excellent service, which is in large part the reason why I chose to deal with Glen's store. ( a good idea with expensive kit, see above) In any case, Glen has done an excellent job rebuilding my other regular bikes, so I have something to ride even if the parts for this minor repair have any covid type shipping issues or delays. Next, I hope to get some nice cross country skis or something for the winter to stay in shape till next bike season.
