A marriage of old and new.
As designers we try to achieve a mutual respect for existing buildings and modern interventions.
This architectural endeavour on King Street in Midland seeks to find a mutually respectful balance between old and new architecture while highlighting the clear differences in building materials, design aesthetic, and construction methods.
Of all the different steps in building a home, one of the last is to shut out the elements.
