The Central North Correctional Centre is the first privately-operated correctional center in Canada. MTC Canada, ULC operates the facility for the Ontario Ministry of Correctional Services. The facility encompasses six 192-bed housing structures with adjacent program areas and connecting links. CNCC provides separate housing and program units for female offenders, a medical infirmary, treatment units and segregation. Support facilities include an administrative wing, meal preparation, maintenance, warehouse and industries.
